): So I accidentally pushed my friend who stepped on someones violin. Just part of it. I know the person who owns the violin, they’re a couple grades lower than me, but I don’t know them that well.. One of the strings came off & it got a small crack. It’s a really nice violin. I don’t think the sting is a problem it’s the crack..
I’m really worried & am so guilty I feel sick It was so embarrassing too. I haven’t told my parents (they would KILL me). I don’t know what to do… I just got back from school.. please help
I didn’t have time to talk to the boy, because he asked his music teacher if he could borrow a sting & when she said yes, he left.. He obviously was disappointed & all. I think the violin he had was super nice & expensive.
Question now is, what should I do.. ? Any information is helpful.. Thanks!

Does anyone know where I can find free sheet music for the SOLO part of the Mozart Violin concerto. I am aware that there is a complete score but I want to find just the solo part

i wonder if beethoven or mozart composed their piano part & violin part & other parts seprately or did they compose some main parts & left other minor parts for the conductors or players?

I saw a video on you tube of a three part violin Viva la vida, & i need it for or senior graduation concert!!

It’s my grandmas b-day today & I am supposed to play her happy birthday on the violin. I need a pretty harmony to play alongside my little brother on the piano. (he just plays one note, no chords) I can’t come up with a harmony part that sounds at all pretty so it would be a major help if you shared just the basic notes. It can be easy or hard & in any key, I don’t care. I just need something that sounds decent to help my little brother out. Please help!

I am in high school, & my good friend & I would like to play a duet. She plays the clarinet, & I play the flute. We are both fairly advanced musicians. Unfortunately, this combination is not too common. Does anyone know of specific pieces (not sheet music websites) to recommend? I could also play oboe or violin parts, so I guess they could be oboe clarinet duets or violin clarinet duets (although those seem more odd than a flute clarinet duet)

i taught my sister’s friend violin for about an hour & it went pretty well. she said i was a good teacher. i was wondering if i could teach part-time as an official instructor without having to go through training & stuff like that. just essential elements & suzuki book 1 & personal input & stuff like that? btw im 16 & been playing 4 almost 8 years so its not like im immature to teach little kids…

I’m looking to replace the pegs & chin rest of an old violin. I was wondering is boxwood is good quality I can’t find any info on it. I was leaning toward rosewood but just wondering if it is just as good. I have seen some beautifully crafted boxwood pegs.

My friend who plays the piano, has the score, but only for piano, & I was wondering if anyone could help or tell me where to find it on the internet. If possible the cello part, although if this is not possible, the violin part, which I will transpose. Thanks.

I just recently heard it on the radio & it has violins & is rap.. the violin part starts “do do do, do do do” obviously hard to explain but even guesses could help.. had it stuck in my head for days
