the whole time the violin is repating the same thing in the background..

3 months ago, I received a gift from my partner for my electric violin. It is a Behringer Tube Ultragrain MIC100
I have not used this most of the tinme since I am not a technical person even after reading the manual plus the technicians who mixes the sound find the instructions difficult to comprehend.
My questions are:
1.) How do we make the most of this MIC100- I mean what are the recommended settings?
2.) Is MIC100 can be REALLY used for electric violin?
3.) DO I have to purchase another set of cables? If yes can you recommend what types?

I have lots of hobbies & and talents/skills.
But lately I’ll see someone who I look up to that does it, & their really amazing at it. And I just think “I’ll never be as good as them” or “Im just wasting my time, Ill never be able to do it like they can”
Even with the skills & hobbies I already enjoy, & lately Ive been trying to pick up the Electric Violin. And yet I see this one guy whos 21. Hes been playing Electric Violin for 15 years. Hes amazing. And I want to be able to play like him. But in 15 years Ill be 30. Its just sorta like, Im realizing how long 15 years is. And will it really take me that long to learn it & play like him?
Its just the phrase “Ill never be as good as him” keeps going through my head, over & over & over.

So I’m buying a sound recorder in about a month. It can record basically anything I play with good quality & I mix it together etc.
I was wondering if anyone had any song recommendations? I’m not really into any pop covers or anything, but more into weird things such as film score music. Donnie Darko Score for an example. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good music like this to cover? (That is actually possible to do).

I have a violin & it says “Hand made copy of Antonius Stradivarius 1955 West Germany E. R. Pfretzschner”. Its a little beat up but it plays really well & is in tune. I also have to bow along with it too. I also just want a little more info on it. Thanks!

im a violinist & have an electric violin, basicly i want just a simple loop pedal, i dont want nothing really fancy as i can’t afford it, but is £30-£40 for price asking to much? & if there are any for that price wich ones, if not then what are the cheapest ones i can get?

I dont know much about it… all i know is that they play it in the commercial for The Movie Network on rogers digital cable…it starts out with a low pitched tune & then violins come in…they play three notes, then repeat them, then four notes & then repeat that.
I can’t really hear what comes after that because the ads for the movies are louder than the music..if anyone could help me out with the name of that song that would be great…Thanks very much

only have one or two fine tuners, & most student violins have all four?
I was told that the pegs were for major adjustments, so do professional violins come out of tune more often?

I have no signal when i plug in my electric violin into the amplifier, it’s a cheap amp, but i’m not sure if it’s because of a techincal problem or just the quality of the amp. (or violin)
When i turn up the volume, it still has that normal buzz like always, but when i plug in the violin with the cord, the volume of the violin remains the same as if it wasn’t even plugged in at all.

This is the amp, it came with the violin as a bundle.

Is there an inexpensive cello pickup that sounds decent? And if so, do I also need a pre-amp? What are some features I should be looking for? I see some cello pickups that are like 200 dollars & in that case, I can just save up 100 more & get a cheap electric violin.
If there is no inexpensive good-sounding option, I will keep miking my cello, & if so, where’s the best place to mic it?

I’m not even sure if this is a symphony to be honest. it starts off with a repeating tune with violins or some other type of string instrument, after the third repeat of the pattern, a woman starts singing in a really high pitched voice, with the tune in the background. & then finally, the background tune becomes much more emphasized. im so sorry i dont know anything about music & this is really hard for me to describe. its a really popular tune that everyone has heard of, i just dont know the name. Its one of those songs you would hear in an old fashioned movie while everyone is ballroom dancing, haha i dont know

ok i quitted piano & i was doing piano for about 2 1/2 years & i started doing the saxophone last year for band. i wanna do: cello or electric guitar or electric violin. which one? which on is eaiser? do you play one of those insterments? if u do plz tell me about it! thx

My girlfriend of six months left last wednesday to go back to her husband. When I met her she lied to me & told me that she had been divorced for eight years. I believe it. Then I found out that she was only separated & she was only recently separatated when I met her. I met her in September & they had separated in July, he walked out on her…I let her move in with me in January & everything seemed fine. She was happy with me or so she said & up until the last day played it like a fine tuned violin. “I love you baby” “I miss you baby” “I need you baby” were her favorites to me. On March 31st…I went to work & when I came home she was gone & she left a note that said Patrick, you deserve better, I’m sorry but I have to do what I have to do, I love you, you deserve better….Didn’t even sign the damn note. Took the ring I gave her & the diamond earrings but left a ton of clothes. She did take some clothes. I contacted her Mom & her son & she called me & left a very nasty message about do not contact them & do not call her back. She said when something doesn’t work, it don’t work. However, she never told me it didn’t work. I thought it was working. I don’t know what to do. Her husband is a control freak & so she can’t get online & her phone ran out of minutes & he won’t put minutes on it. Why would she leave? Was it me? Will she contact me again? This is all new to me. I was really good to her. She didn’t even have to work & didn’t work. Please help.

One of my dad’s friends is a Neursurgeon & the most amazing electric violininst I have ever seen/ heard. How is it that people like him get so much talent, LOL it make’s me & my violin sound like crap compare to this guy, I mean I would think him being a surgeon would’nt get any time at all but he takes his violin with him everywere & he play’s for the people at his hospital, how cool would that be being a surgeon & an insane electric violinist
