I have a violin & it says “Hand made copy of Antonius Stradivarius 1955 West Germany E. R. Pfretzschner”. Its a little beat up but it plays really well & is in tune. I also have to bow along with it too. I also just want a little more info on it. Thanks!

What is the going rate for a *used* Luis & Clark carbon fiber violin in decent condition? Someone is offering me one, but I have no idea what a fair price would be. I’ve only seen 2 used ones listed for sale for around $5000, but don’t know if they ever actually sold at those prices. They go for about $5500 new. Violin dealers generally scoff at them as having no resale value at all since they haven’t gained widespread acceptance in the violin playing community. What is a good price for one of these?

There are a few little dents but barely anything & a little bit of wear on the fingerboard.
Still looks brilliant, shiny etc

Strings are brand new just replaced, fine tuners are also brand new just replaced, & chin rest, bridge & the black part connecting to strings are all in perfect condition.
Violin is completely clean.
Bow is in great condition
Plays nicely with brilliant voice, great response to bow
How much is it worth? It is approximately 20 – 30 years old

It was made in London in 1909. I have a few bows & other accessories along with it, as well as a hard shell case. There is a number in it w32 i think it is…. either way, HELP ME OUT! I really want to know what it’s worth!

I think it was made by Neuiiewwi Zeyer, but i’m not sure, also I think it was made in 1813. It has a Andreas morelli four-star bow. Please help!

I own a 3/4 1969 copy of an Antonio Stradivarius, made by Kiso Suzuki co. It has a wooden finger board & has an olive tone to it, with a fade to a dark wash in the middle. It has heart shaped wooden pegs with little cream nubs at the end.

It was passed down from my Grandfather. It is authentic & it has a case, but no bow. BUT it has always (as long as I have been alive) had a door knob sized hole knocked in the back of it, excellent condition otherwise. Seriously sickening, I know.
Can it be repaired? or is it worth anything “as is”?

I inherited a 1785 violin made by Nicolo Giuseppe (fecit Venetiis anno 1785). It is in need of new strings & some minor repair. The bow needs to be restrung as well. I understand the violin was restored less than ideally in the mid 1930s. Does anyone know anything about the maker? Should I hire a restorer? Any suggestions would be helpful.

-I have a 3/4 lengeth violin in mint condition.
-It is a varnished red wood with all 4 strings & matching bow. (also mint)
-The sound it makes is of the highest quality.
-it comes in a black case with red velvet inside & is in perfect condition.
I want to sell it on eBay & i would like to know what i can expect to get for it. thankyou for reading this

I have a 1925 violin made in Germany size 4/4 fully restored with brand new case & bow

How do I know if this violin is a replica or the real deal? The previous owner purchased it in th 1920’s & it was used before then. The Label on the inside of the violin reads “Nicolaus Amatus fecit in Cremona 1654 made in Czechoslovakia” This violin is in mint condition & it has the bow & case with it.I was wondering how much a replica & the real 1654 violin would be worth.

Full size Shimro (Korean brand) violin, with bow & case, rosin & Kun shoulder rest.
Stradivari copy, solid carved top & back.
It says inside the Violin: “Stradivari Copy, Specially Handmade, Solid Carved top & back, *(Seoul Anno 1989 or maybe it was 1998?)

I think Fender makes a few electric models that hover around $300..something, so just ballpark it from there.

I have a $150 chinese violin. The thing is a piece of junk but my dad says we’ll just get it fixed up. It needs all new pegs & doesn’t hold its tuning at all. Is it worth it to fix it or should we start new?

I looked up Stradivarius in Google Images & there is an identical one shown in the illustration.. Ok I feel a bit guilty but these people should check what they are selling. It came with a tin of Super Sensitive Violin Rosin (Dark) which was marked £2.49. Obviously a much later addition & probably worth a fiver at the most.

My violin teacher is trying to sell this antique 1907 4/4 violin made by A. Glander. But my family doesn’t believe it is worth 1000 including new red wood pegs, a higher chin rest, & marinated wood from Europe. It was delivered from Europe from one of her close friends so please. Can anyone find any info on A. Glander? PLEASE ANSWER A.SAP!
