How funny is Graham Norton?

Would like to know the name of the tune or where I can find the sheet music for it on violin.

I’m told that my violin is a Saxon. Is that a particular style, or perhaps the name of the maker? I can find nothing about a maker by that name. The violin is at least seventy years old & possibly much older. The wooden bow bears the inscription “GFS. GESCH. Thanks.

Is it? the number of strings or not?

I mean, i really want to learn how to play the piano, but are there any other great instruments like the piano?
and if not, i also love drums, but someitmes they might get too loud. I already know how to play cello & violin. Do you guys have any good interests?

It was played by women all dressed in yellow. It had strings, but looked oddly like a mini vacuum cleaner?

lol my music teacher & I were discussing this yesterday at my lesson…
She said that as an adult if I don’t play anymore & I want to pick it up again, I should just open up my scale book, play a few, get familiarized with the fingerings & stuff. After that open up your book of studies or etudes & you can try & play a few of the old ones that you used to play. If you feel like you can, try going on to songs.
If you don’t have your music anymore, just go to a music store, buy a scale book (if you forgot the key signature for each one. if you know the key signatures for each scale it’s pointless to buy a scale book), & buy a study book. If you’re planning on sticking with it for good, be bold & pick out a book of pieces that you are sure you can play after practicing for a while. Don’t expect to be Vivaldi or something after 20 years of not playing.

I’m not even sure if this is a symphony to be honest. it starts off with a repeating tune with violins or some other type of string instrument, after the third repeat of the pattern, a woman starts singing in a really high pitched voice, with the tune in the background. & then finally, the background tune becomes much more emphasized. im so sorry i dont know anything about music & this is really hard for me to describe. its a really popular tune that everyone has heard of, i just dont know the name. Its one of those songs you would hear in an old fashioned movie while everyone is ballroom dancing, haha i dont know

I know he plays violin, but I swear on one song, it sounds like he is playing a trumpet & I thought I saw an ad on TV for an album in which he plays the trumpet. I am probably mistaken, but I do know that he learned to play guitar as a child & that he sings, so it would not surprise me if he played all kinds of instruments. I love classical & especially when it is done with such enthusiasm & style.

Does anybody have any good tips or know any good exercises for improving my hand vibrato?? I’ve been playing violin for a while now, but I have been having a bit of trouble with my vibrato…well thank you so much for any advice, I really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!:D

I have a very basic vioin – a starter fullsize that i got for 100euro & the rosin has now dried out (I have replacement strings, I know I’ll have to change them!) so I was wondering what the most appropriate type of rosin for the bow is?

I’ve always wanted to play an instrument.I started the piano as a child but had to stop due to some circumstances.Last year I decided I wanted to play an instrument I could carry with me & i was really entranced by the violin.I haven’t found a tutor yet but i would like an opinion from those who play or have tried to play the violin on what to expect. My child has previously learned to play the ukele, organ & recorder by listening to the notes. For some time now she has wanted to play the violin & now she able too, she was told that in order to start playing the violin she would have to first learn the piano. This is not practical where we live so she chose the viola because it has a deeper tone & will be better for her height. I would value some opinions from other people thankyou.
