specifically on a violin part?

i accidentally chipped a little varnish off the corner of my new violin with my bow & i want to know how long it would take to repair it (it’s very small but it stands out since the contrast of the color is so great)

tree sap looking stuff. What do I do?

I have been playing the violin for thirteen years, & I’m 17 now. I’m very good. I play in a youth orchestra & at school. Basically, I want to put my solo music out there & get noticed, so I need to know how to get small jobs playing. Where should I look?

If you have too much it’ll flake off a lot & it’ll slide a lot more (less friction). If you have too little it’ll squeak when you play (which is the reason its used…).
Just remember to put more on the ends than in the middle especially on the part nearest the frog.

I now have 2 violins, an electric & an acoustic. Both have the same problem…I cannot tune them. When I try the tuning pegs just slide back to where they were originally. Do I need to take them to a music store & have them do something with my violins, or is there something I can do to fix this?
Also, on both, they are using the strings they came with.(Though the electric ones snapped when I tried to tune)

loose as in easy to hold the string down with your finger
because when i play my violin & when i run the bow over the A string i notice it vibrates more than the others….not like a big vibrate but u know….vibrating lol im sorry im not good at explaining this.
