Violin Answers

I am in high school, & my good friend & I would like to play a duet. She plays the clarinet, & I play the flute. We are both fairly advanced musicians. Unfortunately, this combination is not too common. Does anyone know of specific pieces (not sheet music websites) to recommend? I could also play oboe or violin parts, so I guess they could be oboe clarinet duets or violin clarinet duets (although those seem more odd than a flute clarinet duet)

I want to play clarinet duets with my friend. We both have Bb clarinets. He also has a Bass Clarinet. There is lots of good music for Bb clarinet & other instruments. We want to play some of these other pieces. So, I wondered about substituting Bb clarinet for a violin part, & Bass clarinet for Viola parts. Or other instruments? P.S. Is this also called ‘doubling’?

I want to play the alto saxaphone. what are some pro’s & cons? how can i decide. my parents said if i keep my grades up we will talk about it in december. i dont want to waste their money by keep changing the instrument. how can i decide?

I’ve been going around sites looking for some anime songs to play on my clarinet, but all I find are sheet music from flutes, violins, & pianos. I do know the flute & the violin are in key C though, but I play B-flat. Is it possible?
What I wanted to play was:
Hare Hare Yukai- The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Kazemachi Jet- Tsubasa Chronicle
Sakura Kiss- Ouran HS Host Club

I know they’re both C intsruments, & there isn’t much soprano clarinet music out there.
