as long as you practice for a reasonable amount of time each week its not hard at all. i used to take lessons, took them for 3 years. it was the first instrument i ever learnt.
i now play guitar bass guitar & drums

It may be difficult but anything that you sincerely want to do you can do, if you put your heart & soul into it. If you are going to learn, I wish you the best of luck.

Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small jobs.

it’s one of the hardest instruments to play, but’s its rewarding. if you take orchestra in school it’s not so hard. you build up your skills as you take the class, & then when you hit high school, you can play some of barrage’s stuff if you’re decent at it. just practice.

It’s not THAT bad. If you have any experience with other bow or string intruments, it’ll be a snap for you. If you can already read music, same thing. If you have no experience with any instrument…it’s going to be a little harder. Don’t go into it thinking you’re going to sound like a pro right off the bat. Novice violin players sound very squeaky & uneven. The better you get…the better you sound.

All instruments are hard, it’s not easy to master. BUT if you stick to it, & you love it & are absolutely determined, then nothing will stop you.
I believe you can do it- i taught myself clarinet in a week, & I know someone who taught herself oboe just as fast!
Good luck & just have fun- try not to make practicing a chore!
